How To: Cacao is best consumed in a powder or nib form. Because cacao is the raw unprocessed form of dark chocolate, it tends to be very bitter and is best consume when added to other foods. Simply add 1 tablespoon to your oatmeal, cereal, top on homemade banana ice cream, or use in place of cocoa powder or chocolate chips in baking. Cacao nibs are also delicious in a dried fruit and nut-based trail mix.

Cacao nibs

They are fine. Just not what i expected. I would have to put them in a food processor to use them how I want. I’m not sure how to use them or cook with them without doing that.

Nice crunch and flavor

I am enjoying the cacao nibs in chia pudding, oatmeal, and smoothie bowls. The "crunch" is satisfying in those dishes. You get the essence of chocolate without adding sweetness. I haven't used them before so I don't have a comparison to make with another brand. That said, I am happy with this purchase and will continue to purchase from OTL.
