The Anti-Inflammatory Diet can be thought of as more of a lifestyle that goes beyond just food. It’s a practice of finding more balance by incorporating rest and rejuvenation practices, daily movement, and nutrient rich foods. Here Chris, Matt, and Kristen explain how the On Target Living lifestyle is naturally anti-inflammatory and specific strategies you can take to help you feel your best.  In this dynamic podcast, they will explain that most diseases stem from chronic (long-term) inflammation which happens from a state of internal imbalance (stress, too much cortisol, lack of sleep, and unhealthy diet). This imbalance can signal the immune system to slowly release white blood cells which eventually build up and can start attacking internal organs and healthy tissue (specifically tissue in the gut). Signs of chronic inflammation include body pain, especially in the joints, skin rashes such as eczema or psoriasis, low energy, poor digestion and autoimmune disorders.
