Carbohydrates are getting such a bad name. People use this word to describe something evil, bad and harmful to the human body. How did something that is considered a main energy source and MACRONUTRIENT become the villain? Could it be that people are using the wrong word? Could it be that people are looking for quick fixes? Do people really mean processed sugar like white flour, chips, cookies, baked goods and sugary flavored drinks?
Remember when we cut out FAT? Low Fat, No Fat and what did that create?This created the increase to added salt and processed sugar. Let’s not go in this same direction again. If you cut out a Macronutrient you will have a Macro-Problem. Just like Fat is now back in, don’t go on this roller coaster and start to develop a plan for the future.
You will understand what are carbohydrate is, why ketosis is the new buzz and why this is harmful to long term health and brain function. You can look good, feel great and still eat carbohydrates.
